Bareilly News: Mother daughter and Maulvi have been arrested
Mother, daughter and Maulvi have been arrested for offering namaz at the ancient Shiva temple in Kesarpura village of Hota police station area in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. Let us tell you that after the video went viral, the police took this action by registering a case under sections 295A, 120B, and 153 on the complaint of village head husband Prem Singh.
It is alleged that on the advice of a Maulvi, the mother and daughter had offered Namaz in the temple, the video of which had also gone viral on social media. The police had registered a case against daughter Sabina, mother Nazir and Maulvi Chaman Shah. Police arrested all three and presented them in court.
Let us tell you that on Saturday, the video of people offering namaz in the temple went viral on social media. The people of the village had opposed this. After which the police reached the spot and caught the mother and daughter, while when the matter of sending the Maulvi to the temple came to light, the police also registered a case against him.
FIR has been registered
CO Gaurav Singh said that the woman and her daughter had offered namaz in the temple on the advice of a Maulvi, the video of which had also gone viral. The CO said that 38-year-old Nazir, his 19-year-old daughter Sabina and Maulvi Chaman Shah Mian have been arrested for hurting religious sentiments in the entire episode.
He said that an FIR has been registered on charges of hurting religious sentiments of a community and hatching a criminal conspiracy and investigation is underway.
